How do I find this Shasta Living Street?
Shasta Living Streets will flow along Park Marina Dr. One end will be the crosswalk at the signal for the Hwy 44 on ramps on the west side of the street. Look for the many volunteers and Shasta Living Streets Info Booth. Along this first segment there will be an 1 "open" lane as well as the bike lane and sidewalk on the west side of the street. But the real deal really starts at the corner of South St. and Park Marina Dr. at Park Marina Park! Starting at this corner, Park Marina will be completely closed to vehicles all the way under the Cypress St. Bridge to Parkview Ave. leaving the street OPEN for lots of fun and excitement! At Parkview, participants will turn right and proceed up to Cypress before turning west along the sidewalk to the Sculpture Park where the Festival will be taking place! Have fun either way you travel!!
If driving a vehicle:
From south of Redding : Travel north on I-5 towards Redding, California to the Cypress Ave. exit. Turn left (west) onto Cypress Ave and proceed west on Cypress approximately 2 miles. The main entrance to the Redding City Hall and Sculpture Park can be accessed either by:
- turning left at Parkview Dr. (first signal after crossing the Sacramento River ). Parkview Ave. will make a sweeping right hand turn and there will be several entrances to the back parking lot on your right. The Festival booths are on both the north and south side of the building complex. This will offer the most uncongested parking and is highly recommended!
- Or by entering at the main entrance located at the next signal, Civic Drive. Turn left and follow the signs to parking located to the right of the complex in back of the Farmer’s Market.
From north of Redding : Travel south on I-
5 towards Redding, California to the Cypress Ave. exit. Turn right (west) onto Cypress Ave and proceed west on Cypress approximately 2 miles. The main entrance to the Redding City Hall and Sculpture Park can be accessed either by:
